LudgerTag Glycan Labeling Kits
LudgerTag kit reagents are purified to analytical grade and are dispensed and sealed under clean, inert atmospheres. The ampoules are pre-cleaned by pyrolysis at 500°C then opened just before dispensing and sealing under oxygen-free dry nitrogen. These controls ensure that your analyses work properly each and every time.

Acetic Acid
Promotes acid catalyzed ring opening of the glycan reducing terminus prior to the formation of an imine intermediate between the sugars and the unprotonated form of the dye.

Fluorescent Dye
The comprehensive range of LudgerTag dyes include 2-AB, 2-AA, 2-AP, DMB, and AA-Ac to cover different types of glycoanalyses by HPLC and MS.

DMSO
An anhdrous solvent used to dissolve all the components of the reductive amination labeling reaction.

Sodium Cyanoborohydride
This reductant stabilizes the imine produced by the reaction of the dye and glycans to produce stable fluorescently labeled glycans.

LudgerTag Quantitative Monosaccharide Analysis Kit

This kit contains reagents for the release and fluorescent labeling of monosaccharides found on glycoprotein biopharmaceuticals and standards. Released monosaccharides have a free reducing terminus allowing fluorescent tagging with 2-AA (2-aminobenzoic acid).

There are two hydrolysis acids provided. 2 molar trifluoroacetic acid (2M TFA) and 6 molar hydrochloric acid (6M HCl). 2M TFA is good for releasing neutral monosaccharides but is less effective with the N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) and N-acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) monosaccharides for which we recommend using 6M HCl. We recommend using these acids on separate replicates of your samples.

The kit also contains the LudgerTag MonoMix, a monosaccharide standard containing glucosamine, galactosamine, galactose, mannose and fucose. Xylose is included for use as an internal standard.

2-AA Labeling kit
